Please share your analysis of the two Dover surveys, including your observations, as well as your analysis of these observations.
Technology Curriculum
OBSERVATIONS
#2 58% use digital tools minimally or not at all. 42% use digital tools moderately or extensively.
#3 59% of our students use critical thinking skills minimally or not at all.
#4 66% of our students do not understand or practice ethical behavior.
#5 Over 63% of our students demonstrate a sound understanding of technology.
ANALYSIS
#2 Data could be class appropriate. The answers may depend on which level the person taking the survey teaches (Accounting 1 vs. Accounting 2).
#3 How do the grade levels break down according to grade level? Would the primary grades be more likely to answer "Not at all?"
#4 High school level hits this more in their curriculum, but it needs to be addressed in the lower levels. (*Cheating? Plagarism?)
#5 Staff is aware that the expertise lies within the students.
#6 3/4 of the people who responded to the survey were k-6 teachers.
